I am Balu, the hydraulic boat lift for Tatoosh, Harmony & Carefree.
I can lift sailing yachts or power boats up to 25 tons, 18 meter (60 feet) lenght and 2.10 meter (7 feet) draft directly from the slipway.

Balu, the launch- & recovery slipway trailer offers the most secure way of boat handling!
Balu is designed to launch and recover boats on a slipway, transport the boats over land and park them in a storage area.
The boats are supported on large soft pads to give maximum comfort to the hull. The frame and the pads are independently adjustable in height, to keep the boat horizontal and vertical under all circumstances. The drawbar is extendable to fit boats of different lengths. The hydraulic cylinders are specially designed and manufactured and all lifting cylinders are manufactured including built-in safety valves!
You can rent Balu for very competitive prices - even if there is no comparable lift in the whole Latchi - Pafos - Kato Pyrgos Area.
You have the freedom to choose which pulling machine operator / boat maintenance company you trust.

*Prices include 18% VAT. Payment must be settled in advance in cash or wire transfer, no checks accepted
*Conditions apply as follows:
- For boats more than 14 meter (45 feet) tonnage certificate is obligatory
- Prices can vary depending on boat weight and / or shape
- Every boat owner must sign a liability surrender form
- Maximum tonnage: 25 tons
- Maximum draft: 2.10 m (7 feet)
- Maximum length: 18 m (60 feet) LOA
- Boat trailer must be returned rinsed with fresh water in same good condition
- Price includes 1 staff for boat trailer usage supervision exclusively
- First time operator must take practice lessons at separate charges
- Security deposit can apply
- Prices subject to changes without prior notice.
- Rent price includes max. 1 hour of use for 1 lift, standby times are charged 60,00 EUR per extra hour
- Boat washing on the trailer is NOT allowed without prior notice.
- Boat wash during boat is on the trailer is applicable to extra fee of 60,00 EUR
- Catamaran / multi hull prices on request
- No wooden hull boats can be accepted
- Boat transport on harbour premises only up to 500 meter. Extra distance is charged 30,00 EUR per 500 meter
- Boat transport on public roads are not permitted without special agreement and license from responsible authorities
- Operating times are summer Mon-Fri from 10.00 to 16.00, winter Mon-Fri from 10.00 to 14.00
- Surcharge for usage outside operating times on weekdays 100 %
- Saturday, Sunday, Public / Bank Holiday surcharge 200% +500 ,00 EUR one time surcharge
- Booking and full advance payment min. 2 operation days before lift usage appointment
- Trailer transport fee to other harbour than Latsi 600,00 EUR per one-way (Kato Pyrgos, Pafos, Ag. Georgios), others on request
- Max. boat size can be restricted by harbour / slipway design, please discuss before booking
- Boat must be fixed with proper tension belts (at least 4) before movement. belts not included
- Pulling machine must have external hydraulic connectors with well maintained hydraulic oil and filter
- Pulling machine must be generally in good working condition, please clearify with pulling machine operator before booking
- Prices exclude any pulling machine operator fees or boat handling operator fees or cradle / stand / land usage / slipway usage fees
